Hello everybody...I have discovered a new product that works for me.  I was having approx. 1-6 nose bleeds PER DAY varying in severity and Kaltostat was my first treatment option.  Kaltostat is still a very good product but it doesn't always work.... I have now started this regime after my mothers ENT suggested it to her.  I am in Australia so I hope the following is available to you all.  Every morning after a shower I use a product called FLO NOZOIL, Moisturising Nasal Spray manufactured by ENT Technologies Pty Ltd, Suite 214,17-33 Milton Parade, Malvern, VICTORIA 3144 AUSTRALIA or ENT Technologies   It contains sesame seed oil and vitamin E.  It is recommended for relief of dry and crusting nasal tissue and IT WORKS.  You may notice that your nasal area becomes very dry and taut at times but after just 1 spray per nostril you will be relieved.  A short while later I follow with a very light smear of an antibiotic nasal cream such a BACTROBAN Nasal cream made by GlaxoSmithKline, AUSTRALIA or www.gsk.com.au    This cream helps to heal those persistant crusts that form in the nasal canal that when interfered with cause bleeding.  It's a wound that must be healed and the cream does just that.  The ritual only takes 5 minutes and since the beginning of December '08 I have had approx 10 nosebleeds which is a HUGE REDUCTION.  Please try it and GOOD LUCK!

Hi All,

I tried to get nozoil in the UK, but was unsuccessful.  However I was referred to Noseeze which is also a sesame seed oil spray £10.63 for 15ml.

I tried this, and found it cut down the number of nosebleeds I was getting (especially at night) - however, it didn't seem to work very well as a spray, but merely applied drops inside the nose.

I have since changed to buying my own sesame seed oil (not roasted) which I use night and morning from a small bottle.

I'm continuing with the Sesame Seed oil, and the improvement is continuing - I shall certainly go on using it.  Has anyone else tried?

I've also heard that Sterimar has had some good results, however would always suggest that you seek advice from your DR's before trying it.
