Hello Matt and every one out there in the big bad world of epitaxis, having just joined the group today, today being the first I have heard of this UK based forum which I am delighted to find.
Many years ago when I thought That I was in a minute minority,I placed a site on the web and did not have one responce, shortly after I found an American site which I joined and it was helpful, but being mainly american based most of the remedys I would have given a try were not available to the UK.
And also often frowned on by my consultant when I mentioned them,as well as being a bit on the expensive side to purchase if they turned out to be no good for me.
I realise of course there is no cure for HHt but I know it is possible to make it a little better some of the time, but then it has this way of jumping up and suprising even an old campainer like me.
My bleeds can be very bad especially from the right nostril,it does not fast drip it steady streams reducing to a stop over 25...30 mins a time,as you all know what a mess, and I think I would not be able to cope on my own at these bad ones.
I have taken cyklokapron tabs to help clotting for some ten year now,so long I find a placibo effect may have taken me over.

Anyway wont rant on,thanks for your time, would be pleased to help anyone with a question to answer if i can.

See ya BOB..........

And I (as well as the other members I am sure), are delighted to have you here!

To be honest, when I first set up this site, I wasn't really expecting to have anyone join, although I am obviously glad that people are and that we are now a growing community!

You do always have to be wary of so-called "cures" advertised on the web etc., as in many cases they can indeed have no effect anyway (apart from on your wallet), or even make you worse.

Hi Matt and everyone else in this group.

I would just like to say how amazed I was yesterday to discover this forum.  I know there are not that many people yet, but certainly 23 more than what I knew about before yesterday.

I hope that any other HHT sufferer out there finds this site too.
