Are you able to get out much?

I'm curious about this, how many people here are very active and are able to be out all the time, and how many are forced to stay home because of their condition?

My HHT forces me to stay at home due to it affecting my oxygen level, and I am tired quite a lot of the time - even simply trying to open a bottle or walk a few feet seems to tire me out easily.

I do get out occasionally (usually only for something that I have no other choice but to do), but it is still pretty rare unless I am being driven (my eyesight prevents me from being able to drive myself anyway).

Hi Matt,the basis of how  my day will pan out is fashioned in the morning,if bleeding occurs though the night,or if I am unlucky while showering and start a bleed,being able to stop it with some sort of a presentable apperance to the outside world dictates if I get out or not that day,as you know after a bad one a restart is just a twitch away.
I know I have had this now for as long as I can remember and have been for the last 20 yr very bad,when I read about hht sufferers going on treks and bike rides for many miles I often wonder if they have the same as I do.
Never had a holiday away for 14 yr now,never worked for the last 14 either,no one would employ me.
Special occations worry me when I must put in a presence,I try to keep it as short as poss,my daughter married pre christmas a happy day,,,, that was a nightmare for me.
In answer to your question,I do get out but never far,even on my bike at times,but once again never far,8 ml there and back max.
Never mind life goes on and I am greatful for it,you find ways of getting by you have to make the best of what life gives you.......................
