Eating my words

Hello all just a line or two telling all you fellow HHt ers,of my little run in with total panic, having bled now for some 20>30 years in all sorts of modes, the daily dribbles the constant runs, and the Blitzer’s, thought I’d seen it all.

But no every now and again lately it has been so bad, taking my breath away as it was sealing at the front with a giant blood clot out of my nose, but still streaming down my throat so much it was taking my breath away.

Anyway had a couple of trips to a+e in the ambulance, and I was beginning to ask myself where do I go from here, and after everything I have said about the welding jobs cauterisation and laser being of no use to me at all and running away each time it was mentioned to give it a try again.

So in no time at all was in to see my consultant, he is an excellent fellow and does know his stuff, no mig nor yag burners this time, much better welders I was assured.

Though he did reaffirm this is not a cure, only hopefully a respite from the worst moments, and that to me would be wonderful I can assure you.

So I had it done just eight days after my visit to see him, when I woke after the op was so pleased to find no packing in my nostrils, as I have found if you wake with a pack in you have bled, and will most prob will bleed again when they take it out.

Had a gentle bleed the next morning early from my worst side, and still bleed from my better side, but up to now it feels like being half way to heaven, and if I nurse myself maybe I’ll get a week or two or even more, fingers crossed.

Anyway I apologise to anyone who read my run when mentioned letter, but you know what they say, when things are really bad ,IT IS ANY PORT IN A STORM,EVEN IF IT IS A ROCKY ONE…..
And everything will pass with time.

Take care be lucky

Good to hear that it's going better for you Bob :)

Incidentally it appears that the ads at the top of the page picked up the few times you said 'welding', since it showed an ad for welding specialists :P
