bleeding from the mouth
« on: January 18, 2008, 07:13:14 PM »
Following my full nasal closure it appears that I have started bleeding from the roof of my mouth just at the back of the top teeth. I have had laser treatment twice now but to no avail my consultant is discussing with his colleagues what can be tried next. Has anyone out there had this experience and what treatments have you tried and was it successful I would be very interesreted to know.
best regards   Phil

Hi Phil

I too have had many bleeds from my mouth.  My tongue, gums, pallet, the back, just about everywhere I guess.

My consultant takes me in when they get bad and lasers them or cauterises, whichever is the most suitable at the time.

Once they have been treated, as with every other area that I have my red spots, more come.  It has just become a pattern of going into hospital, having an MOT, sorting out all the problem areas, patching me up and sending me on my way again.

I am actually going in on Monday of this week to have various spots in my mouth treated, along with some that are on the ends of my fingers.
