hht and pavm's
« on: February 25, 2008, 03:23:31 PM »
Only recently found this site and find it comforting to find that there are fellow sufferers out there.  Just waiting to go in for embolisation of pavm's for the second time and am wondering if there is anybody out there who might know what happens if I have a nosebleed when I am having this procedure.  It is making me very anxious as I am in the middle of a bleeding cycle at present, which I find very hard to cope with at the best of times. :-

Having had this procedure myself I can only think of whoever is doing your procedure then make them aware of your condition and your fears. i too sufferd severe nosebleeds but finally have had this cured 100% by having a full nasal closure so when I did have my PAVM done I did not have a problem with nosdebleeds. If you require further info on nasal closure I will be happy to do so.
