Hi all,

It is really interesting reading all of your posts.  I too have had cautery to my nose, both sides, for most of my life.  Now the ENT surgeons will not touch it as they fear perferating through due to the large amount of scar tissue.  My right side has been sealed with Youngs Procedure, but my left bleeds all the time and they just keep telling me that there is nothing they can do with it.  My iron levels are constantly low and I just don't know what to do anymore.

Hi, hope you are ok . I had the local A&E quarterise my hooter a few times. They finished by completely distorting the airways. Probably not their fault due to the blood flow. I have since had an artery clipped that feeds the blood to the knackered vessels. So far so good but on reading up on hht I now have little confidence of it holding out. I had also been prescibed transamic acid  pills will helped to stem the flow of my nosebleeds (more of a manageable slow moving sludge as opposed to free flowing claret).
Good Luck Steve.
